Forward Deployed Engineer (Consultant) - Enterprise Data and Analytics

YOUR ROLE

As a Forward Deployed Engineer in our Enterprise Data & Analytics practice, you will embed with client teams to turn ambiguous business problems into production-ready AI, data and automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client teams to understand business challenges, operational workflows, user needs and technical environments

• Identify high-value opportunities and translate business needs into clear AI, data and automation solutions

• Design, build and integrate agents, applications, workflows, data products and AI-enabled solutions

• Rapidly prototype, test, deploy and scale solutions using code, low-code platforms and partner technologies

• Drive adoption, measure business value and continuously improve solutions while contributing reusable assets and accelerators

YOUR PROFILE

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience building and deploying AI, data, automation or software solutions

• Experience in consulting, technology or an innovation-driven enterprise is a plus

• Proven ability to take ambiguous business problems from idea to working implementation

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders, end users and technical teams

Technical skills

• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript or similar programming languages

• Practical experience with APIs, databases, Git, testing and CI/CD

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure

• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate or comparable tools

• Ability to combine code, low-code platforms and partner technologies pragmatically to build working solutions

AI & Data

• AI-powered applications, assistants or agents

• Agentic solutions using Anthropic Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework or comparable frameworks

• AI-native engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex or equivalent

• LLM-based solutions, RAG, tool calling, MCP, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails, evaluation or observability

• Azure-based AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry Agent Service, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search or comparable services

• Data products, analytics solutions, reporting, integrations or automation workflows

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Clear communicator who can translate between business needs and technical solutions

• Hands-on, proactive and delivery-oriented builder mindset

• Curious, pragmatic and eager to learn new technologies

• Strong ownership to turn ideas into tangible, production-ready solutions

Languages

• Excellent written and spoken English

• German for Zurich or French for Geneva is mandatory at minimum C1 level
