Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Core Java, UI Automation, API Automation, and Test Automation Framework Development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and should be able to demonstrate deep technical knowledge in Java programming, Selenium automation, REST Assured, and CI/CD integration.

This role requires a strong problem solver who can independently build automation solutions, optimize test execution, and contribute to enterprise-level quality engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Core Java, Selenium, and REST Assured.
  • Write efficient, scalable Java code utilizing OOP concepts, Collections, and Exception Handling.
  • Build and enhance UI and API automation frameworks to improve test coverage and quality.
  • Create and maintain reliable XPath/CSS selectors and UI automation scripts.
  • Design and execute API automation tests and integrate them into existing frameworks.
  • Support framework architecture, execution strategies, reporting, and test data management.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and drive automation best practices.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Core Java.
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Collections Framework
  • Exception Handling
  • OOP Concepts
  • Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  • Proven ability to independently create and troubleshoot XPath locators.
  • Strong experience with REST Assured for API automation.
  • Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing enterprise frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
  • Knowledge of TestNG, Maven/Gradle, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms and containerized execution environments.
  • Understanding of performance and integration testing concepts.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 55786-65295

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
