Product Manager – UTV Specialist

Full-time

Louisville, Kentucky, United States

About NVX

At NVX, we are obsessed with high-performance audio. We engineer and manufacture industry-leading subwoofers, speakers, amplifiers, and installation accessories that push the boundaries of sound quality and durability. As we continue to expand our footprint in the powersports and specialty vehicle markets, we are looking for a passionate, driven Product Manager to lead our UTV/SxS (Side-by-Side) Audio division.

Position Overview

As the Product Manager – UTV Specialist, you will drive the development of NVX’s off-road and utility terrain vehicle audio product lines. You will lead the creation of ruggedized, high-output audio systems, including roof systems, pod speakers, sub enclosures, and Bluetooth controllers designed to survive mud, water, sand, and extreme vibrations.

The ideal candidate understands the unique demands of the off-road community and knows how to deliver booming, crystal-clear audio that cuts through engine noise on the trails.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the product lifecycle for the UTV/SxS category, focusing on vehicle-specific integration (e.g., Polaris RZR/General, Can-Am Maverick, Honda Talon).
  • Ruggedized Engineering Collaboration: Partner with R&D to ensure products meet strict IP (Ingress Protection) ratings for water and dust resistance, as well as UV protection and shockproof standards.
  • Market Research: Stay ahead of off-road vehicle trends, consumer preferences, and OE (Original Equipment) changes to ensure NVX products are first to market.
  • Go-To-Market Execution: Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and sales teams to ensure on-time product launches and impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Field Testing: Oversee real-world testing and validation of UTV audio systems to guarantee premium performance in extreme environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record in powersports, off-road accessories, or marine/12V audio.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of UTV electrical systems, battery limitations, and mechanical mounting solutions (roll cage clamps, custom pods).
  • Off-Road Passion: Active enthusiast in the UTV/SxS, off-road, or powersports community.
  • Skills: Excellent project management skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple product lines simultaneously.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or equivalent practical industry experience.
