Skillforce has teamed up with a leading electrical contractor to find a skilled Electrical Project Manager to work on their commercial projects.

This is a full-time, direct hire position based out of Purcellville, VA with travel to project sites locally.

Electrical Project Manager Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $130-$145k

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Support business development efforts through client relationships, networking, and industry involvement.
  • Manage projects from estimating hand-off through closeout, including reviewing contracts, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, prefabrication, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project performance, manpower, equipment, schedules, costs, and billing to ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct site visits and collaborate with Superintendents and Foremen to maintain productivity and project milestones.
  • Review and approve invoices, track project costs, and develop recovery plans when necessary.
  • Lead project closeout activities, post-construction reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Mentor field leadership and support team development.

Electrical Project Manager Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial electrical project management experience
  • Division 26 experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods and projects.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean MVR required.
