The Cloud Security Architecture team is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to help secure and enable enterprise adoption of cloud technologies across AWS and Azure. This role partners with application, engineering, and security teams to review architectures, identify risk, establish security guardrails, and drive secure-by-design cloud solutions. The role will also leverage AI and automation to improve security processes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead security architecture reviews for cloud applications and platforms deployed in AWS and Azure.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and analytics to enhance cloud security operations, governance, and risk management.
  • Design and promote secure cloud patterns, standards, and reference architectures.
  • Provide guidance on identity and access management, including Entra ID, RBAC, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Assess and secure Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Review applications and APIs against OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Top 10 security practices.
  • Partner with engineering and SecOps teams to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Implement and advise on data protection, encryption, TLS, certificate management, and key management solutions.
  • Support data classification, records management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and analytics to enhance cloud security operations, governance, and risk management.
  • Communicate security risks and recommendations to technical and leadership stakeholders.

Our Senior Cybersecurity earns between $128,400.00 - $192,600.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
