About the role:

Reporting to the Data Platform & MLOps Senior Engineer on the EMEA Commercial IT Team, the Data & AI Platform Engineer Intern contributes to the design, development, and deployment of data and AI solutions across the organization. Working closely with the Data Platform team, this role focuses on building and operationalizing scalable data pipelines and AI/GenAI applications, from early-stage prototypes to production-ready solutions.

Location: in our offices in Madrid, on a hybrid working schedule.

Start date: October 2026

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development and deployment of data pipelines and AI/GenAI solutions on the company’s data platform
  • Building proof-of-concepts (POCs) to explore and validate data and AI use cases, and supporting their transition to production-ready implementations
  • Supporting the data platform setup by contributing to monitoring capabilities, including building solutions for data quality and data ingestion monitoring
  • Collaborating closely with data engineers, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful data and AI projects
  • Partnering with global teams to support the deployment and scaling of solutions

What are we looking for in you?

  • Graduated on a Bachelor or Masters degree in the Data, AI or related field (2025/2026)
  • Strong interest in data engineering, data platforms, and AI/GenAI technologies, with hands-on experience through projects or internships
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is a plus
  • Proficient English and Spanish language skills (C1)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency to complete activities and projects with high quality
