Discover your exciting role

As Project Manager, you are the accountable leader for delivering complex, safety critical projects from tender through to handover. Whether managing a single large project or multiple concurrent works, you ensure scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety are delivered without compromise. You lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, planning, commercial, procurement, manufacturing, and site operations and you are the credible face of Exentec Hargreaves to clients and stakeholders. You drive delivery through structured planning, rigorous cost control, and evidence-based change management.You collaborate openly across functions, use digital tools to improve efficiency and certainty, and build client confidence through transparency and reliability. You develop your team, share knowledge across projects, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement where lessons learned make the next project better than the last.

 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  •    Receive information from Project Manager or Lead Project Engineer. Review and understand package requirements and documentation and highlight discrepancies. 
  •    In line with defined project sizes, plan, monitor, determine and arrange resource levels, materials requirements and site demands to ensure efficient operation of the Project package.
  •    Review and understand client specifications. Prepare internal specifications and manufacturing details. 
  •    Take a leading role in building services co-ordination exercises in conjunction with any contractual obligations
  •    Coordinate with the design and engineering department to ensure that the correct standards, specifications and information is produced in order that the project targets and obligations are achieved. 
  •    Assist and define in the procurement of equipment and materials to comply with requirements and delivery needs. 
  •    Contribute to the commercial management of the project. Be aware of specific project commercial constraints. 
  •    Recognise variations and delays to the tendered scope of works and ensure they are properly reported and recorded. 
  •    Contribute and provide information for the submission of valuations and invoices.  
  •    Supervise others of a lesser grade. Lead by example and show initiative. Develop team spirit and job involvement. 
  •    Carry out accurate site surveys and site measures and demonstrate flexibility in terms of site visiting / being site based as necessary. 
  •    Develop a working relationship with the client. 
  •    Attend site meetings as required by the Project Manager or Lead Project Engineer, to expand and develop relationships and promote the company positively 
  •    Contribute to the preparation of safe systems of work including generation of method statements, risk assessments etc.

  •    Be aware of and be familiar with current industry standards and specifications relevant to ventilation systems. 
  •    Good communication skills at all levels. 
  •    Ability to represent the best interests of the company in direct dealings with clients, suppliers and subcontractors. 
  •    A conscientious, positive and reliable attitude to performing the task. 
  •    Understanding of company’s contractual obligations.
  •    Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook 
  •    Strong analytical and logical skills Full UK driving licence
