About the Team
We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.
We’re looking for a Technical Writer for a 1.5-year maternity leave replacement position — someone who can help maintain high-quality documentation and describe the workflows related to our task tracker. If you enjoy turning complex processes into clear instructions and know how to structure documentation as a practical tool for the team, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities
- Write documentation: product modules, technical solutions, guides, and regulations
- Update materials when changes are made to the product and systems
- Standardize documents: structure, formatting, translation
- Archive outdated content and prevent the accumulation of technical debt
- Gather information from subject matter experts (SMEs): engineers, analysts, product managers
- Maintain the wiki space structure: templates, navigation, links
- Troubleshoot technical issues with rendering, plugins, and markup
- Create and configure task tracker boards: structure, filters, views
- Edit automated rules: triggers, transitions, notifications
- Investigate automation failures and rule malfunctions
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a technical writer or documentation editor
- Native Russian, proficiency in written English (B2)
- Experience with Confluence: creating, structuring, and using templates
- Understanding of documentation structure principles: guides, reference manuals, regulations, technical solutions
- Ability to independently research technical topics
- Skill in working with subject matter experts (SMEs): asking questions, gathering and verifying information
- Basic understanding of product development: front-end, back-end, microservices, Git
- Attention to detail: correct links, consistent terminology, adherence to templates
Could be an advantage
- Experience with microservices architecture documentation
- Experience at product or fintech companies
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience translating technical texts from Russian to English
- Familiarity with TargetProcess or similar tools
