First-line Product Support Supply Chain Manager

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a First-line Product Support Supply Chain Manager (K-level) to join the team located in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
First Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- 3+ years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 3+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
- Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- Ability to work any shift, as assigned
- Active Yankee White Clearance required
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
- 3+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
- 3+ years of experience leading a team or program
- Experience with EVM and CAM supporting Boeing DoD contracts
