The Business Systems Analyst, Enterprise Platforms & Automation will serve as a bridge between business teams and IT, working with Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to understand business processes, clarify needs, and translate priorities into clear, actionable requirements. The role will focus on PaneraTech's key enterprise applications, including Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, while supporting cross-functional workflows across other business systems such as HiBob, XAssist, and XSight. The Business Systems Analyst will identify opportunities for process improvement, functional integration, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

Business teams retain ownership of process decisions and approvals; IT retains ownership of technical architecture, solution design, implementation, security, integrations, and production operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, business systems analysis, systems analysis, enterprise applications, functional consulting, or a similar role, including experience independently leading cross-functional process and requirements initiatives.
  • Hands-on functional experience analyzing or improving business processes in Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable enterprise business applications is strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, workflow mapping, and functional documentation.
  • Practical understanding of enterprise application integrations, APIs, data flows, and data mapping.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing and software delivery processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and produce clear written business and functional documentation.

Nice-to-Have• Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, or AI-enabled business automation.

  • Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics certification.
  • Experience working with API integrations, middleware, or enterprise integration platforms from a functional or business analysis perspective.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  • Experience working in technology, software, manufacturing, or other complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience with vendor evaluation, functional delivery validation, or enterprise application implementation projects.

1. Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Partner with business and operations stakeholders to understand business processes, objectives, pain points, business rules, and requirements.
  • Map and analyze end-to-end cross-functional business processes across departments and systems, identifying process breaks, manual handoffs, duplicated work, unclear ownership, and opportunities for standardization and automation.
  • Analyze and document current-state and future-state processes, workflows, decision points, and business rules.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve business processes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements discussions so business needs, priorities, and decisions are clearly understood by IT.
  • Help establish clear process ownership, responsibilities, decision points, and approval requirements across cross-functional workflows.
  • Analyze and support the prioritization of business requests based on business value, urgency, complexity, dependencies, risk, and expected impact.

2. Enterprise Applications, Data & Integration

  • Analyze Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics business processes, workflows, and platform capabilities from a functional perspective.
  • Analyze end-to-end workflows spanning Salesforce, Dynamics, and other enterprise applications.
  • Define functional integration requirements, including business events, data flows, data mappings, business rules, exception handling, and required system interactions, in collaboration with IT.
  • Identify data quality, ownership, consistency, and process issues, and coordinate with business data owners and IT on resolution.
  • Help identify systems of record and clarify ownership of key business and master data.
  • Support the functional evaluation of new business applications and platform capabilities, and define business requirements for approved initiatives.

3. AI & Automation

  • Identify business processes that could benefit from workflow automation, AI agents, or intelligent process orchestration.
  • Assess automation and AI opportunities based on business value, process fit, risk, complexity, dependencies, and expected impact, and partner with IT on technical feasibility.
  • Define the business responsibility, inputs, outputs, system interactions, business rules, exceptions, and human approval points for AI-enabled workflows.
  • Translate validated business opportunities into functional requirements and workflow definitions for IT-led technical design and implementation.
  • Coordinate business validation, testing, adoption feedback, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions.

4. Solution Delivery, Vendor Collaboration & UAT

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, developers, and vendors throughout the solution delivery lifecycle while maintaining clear functional and technical ownership.
  • Clarify business requirements and provide functional guidance during implementation.
  • Coordinate functional requirements and clarifications with external vendors and technology partners in alignment with IT.
  • Support IT in evaluating vendor deliverables against agreed requirements, acceptance criteria, timelines, and expected business outcomes.
  • Develop test scenarios and acceptance criteria, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support business testers.
  • Support business stakeholders in validating delivered solutions against agreed requirements and acceptance criteria; business owners retain final approval and sign-off.
  • Document and track functional issues, gaps, defects, rework, and enhancement requests.
  • Support release validation and post-implementation reviews.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration, Documentation & Adoption

  • Serve as the primary functional bridge between business stakeholders and the IT team.
  • Communicate business processes and system requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date process, requirements, workflow, and functional documentation.
  • Support functional training materials, change readiness, and adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Help ensure that business decisions, requirements, ownership, and agreed process changes are documented and traceable.
