Stipend: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on skills and experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an AI-first QA intern who is passionate about software quality, automation, and modern testing practices.

This is not a traditional manual testing internship.

You will leverage AI tools to generate test cases, validate AI-powered features, automate repetitive testing, and work closely with product and engineering teams to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to generate test cases, identify edge cases, and improve test coverage.

• Identify, document, and track bugs using project management tools.

• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.

• Test new features before production releases.

• Validate UI/UX consistency across devices and browsers.

• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Assist in writing and maintaining automation test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Perform exploratory testing to identify usability and workflow issues.

• Validate reports and application data using basic SQL queries.

• Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyse, and resolve issues.

• Assist in preparing test reports and release sign-offs.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.

• Understanding of software testing and QA concepts.

• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.

• Familiarity with test case creation and bug reporting.

• Basic understanding of REST APIs and database concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Passion for learning AI-assisted software testing and automation.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Postman, or similar testing tools.

• Exposure to API testing.

• Basic understanding of SQL queries.

• Familiarity with automation testing concepts.

• Knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Python is an advantage.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot is preferred.
