What you’ll do

As a Data Governance Analyst, you will collaborate with the team towards improving and implementing DataGovernance frameworks. You will work with Functional Data Owners to ensure data are properly documentedand policies are followed and manage systems to keep data legal, organized, safe, accessible, and valuable.You will collaborate closely with other Data Teams and IT colleagues to improve Data Governance adoption,manage workflows for updating the data library and streamline data processes. Finally, you will act as the Finance Functional Data Officer (FDO) and ensure the consistency and completeness of Data Warehousemetadata, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Improve Data Governance adoption and reach
  • Manage workflows for updating the data library and streamlining data processes
  • Gather and update the glossary in collaboration with Data Governance team members
  • Manage and validate the work of Finance Custodians and Stewards as the Finance Functional DataOfficer (FDO)
  • Ensure the consistency and completeness of Data Warehouse metadata and identify areas forimprovement and automation

Who you are

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • At least 1 year of experience working with data, preferable in telecommunications
  • Understanding of Data Governance, Analytics, Visualization, and Data Warehousing concepts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both IT and Business communities
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and tools
  • Skilled in SQL
  • Experience with Collibra or similar data governance tools, Python and SPSS Modeler is a plus
