Cybersecurity Internship
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Level: Intern
Division / Department: Information Security
Reporting to position: Information Security Officer
Summer 2027 - 90 day internship
About the Role:
The Information Security Intern will work directly with the Information Security Team to complete both daily tasks and strategic initiatives. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on information technology experience and work closely with leaders in multiple divisions across the enterprise.
This is a temporary position (approximately 10-12 weeks) and is paid on an hourly basis. No relocation is offered, candidates must be local to the Fort Wayne, Indiana area for the Summer 2026 timeframe. The Intern may also be able to use this opportunity towards university/college credit.
Responsibilities include:
- Incident triage and management using cutting edge prevention and detection technologies
- Analyze network penetration results and formulate remediation plans
- Patch and vulnerability management of workstations and servers
- Assist with current security initiatives which will involve working with Applications Development, Infrastructure, Operations, and Support departments
Education and Experience:
- Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
- Enthusiastic and motivated, willing to accept a wide variety of challenges

- Problem solving and analytical skills
