Amazon’s Prime Video team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the EMEA operational accounting activities of Prime Video.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity with a strong ability to prioritise multiple projects and to execute deliverables with excellent communication and to a high standard. The ability to influence stakeholders will also be essential to succeed in this role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Supporting aspects of our accounting and reporting process.
  • End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.
  • Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
  • Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results.
  • Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.

Basic Qualifications: - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis - Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes - ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar credentials required - Experience of a monthly close cycle, periodic financial reporting and related analytical analysis with a knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS

Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent analytical skills - Experience working with a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or complex company - Demonstrated history of solving multiple complex operational and accounting challenges - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills - Experience working with Oracle
