BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Under general supervision the IT Business Support Analyst II provides day-to-day business support to the Information Technology department. Responsibilities include managing the ordering, tracking and delivery of IT hardware and software, monitoring IT budgets and working with IT leadership to address known variances, processing new and renewal contracts, POs, and invoices in a timely manner. This position also supports the IT Service Management system to maximize the use of all features and functionality that support efficient and effective delivery of IT services.

Minimum Education: Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field of study.

License/Certification Required: N/A   

Minimum Work Experience: Two years of experience in healthcare, information technology, business administration, or administrative support. Years of experience may be used to support minimum education requirement.

  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and other computer applications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive inventory of IT assets.
  • Facilitate IT purchases, tracking all logistical aspects from initial ordering to completed delivery.
  • Track annual hardware and software budget renewals and expenses.
  • Track and submit all IT invoices, ensuring they are paid in a timely manner.
  • Anticipate the needs of IT Managers and be proactive with support.
  • Arrange and facilitate department-wide activities such as the annual All IT Meetings.
  • Partner with operational leaders to proactively manage IT needs.
  • Works with business and clinical operation leaders to develop self-service modules that improve access to IT services and support.         
  • Maintains and published monthly Service Management statistics.

  • Light lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 10-20 lbs. occasionally and frequent moving of objects of less than 10 lbs. is required.
