The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst combines strong technical skills in predictive modeling with a leadership approach to mentoring. This role is integral in shaping Knipper Health’s data strategy, driving innovation through AI and machine learning, and instilling best practices in data quality and storytelling. The ideal candidate excels at both hands-on analytics and guiding junior team members toward excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advanced Modeling & Technical Innovation
- Design and implement predictive models using Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies to address key business questions.
- Investigate automation and AI solutions that enhance forecasting, data processing, or decision-making.
- Build and maintain dashboards or ad hoc analyses in DOMO, Tableau, or Power BI for transparent, actionable insights.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide informal training, feedback, and coaching to junior analysts, helping them refine their technical and analytical skills.
- Champion robust data governance and accuracy, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders and systems.
- Facilitate peer reviews and collaborative problem-solving, fostering a team culture of continuous improvement.
Data Quality & Governance
- Identify and address data discrepancies swiftly, proposing scalable solutions that enhance reliability.
- Develop and enforce standards for data handling, reporting, and analytics processes.
- Work closely with Operations, IT, and Client Services to streamline data pipelines and optimize system integrations.
Strategic Insights & Stakeholder Engagement
- Present complex analytics outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a compelling story format.
- Collaborate with leadership to align analytics initiatives with broader organizational goals and identify new opportunities for impact.
- Act as a trusted advisor, recommending the best analytical approaches for various project needs.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, etc.).
- 5+ years in business intelligence or analytics, with hands-on predictive modeling experience and some history of mentoring or team development.
- Competence in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (DOMO, Tableau, Power BI).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success implementing AI/ML solutions with measurable ROI or operational improvements.
- Experience collaborating with multi-department stakeholders in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data tools or advanced ETL pipelines for large-scale analytics.
- Pharmacy or supply chain experience—especially managing data integrity, inventory levels, or compliance within a distribution context—preferred.

The expected base pay range for this position is $100,000–$140,000 per hour. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule.
