Bring your finance expertise to a role where you'll help turn complex financial data into meaningful business decisions. As a Finance Analyst within our Customer Growth team, you'll contribute to forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting, and financial analysis across a portfolio of growth initiatives. Working closely with project managers, business leaders, and finance colleagues, you'll provide insight into revenue, claims, expenses, and profitability, helping stakeholders understand what's driving performance and where opportunities exist. This is an opportunity to develop as a commercial finance professional, building strong stakeholder relationships while gaining broad exposure to the financial and operational levers that shape business outcomes.

 

This is a 6-month max-term full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).

 

What You'll Do

  • Deliver financial analysis and insights that support business performance, profitability, and informed decision making across Customer Growth initiatives.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial outlook processes through robust analysis, commentary, and performance reporting.
  • Partner with project managers and business stakeholders to provide commercial guidance and improve financial outcomes.
  • Analyse revenue, claims, and expense drivers, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improved performance.
  • Monitor variances against plans and forecasts, translating financial information into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting, analysis, and the delivery of financial insights.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years' experience in finance, audit, consulting, accounting, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and identify meaningful insights.
  • Confidence building relationships and working with a variety of business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, or performance analysis principles.
  • Curiosity, learning agility, and a desire to develop commercial finance expertise.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and practical way.
  • Experience in complex insurance and financial services environments.
