Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Role Overview
As part of the Mahindra Auto Accessories business, Manager – E&E Engineer will be responsible for validating and integrating Electrical & Electronics (E&E) systems across vehicle and accessories programs. This role will support the development, testing, and homologation of electrical systems to ensure they meet performance, reliability, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
E&E Systems Validation & Integration
- Validate electrical and electronic systems integration across vehicle and accessories programs.
Design Verification & Testing
- Plan and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) for E&E components and systems.
Homologation & Regulatory Compliance
- Support homologation activities for electrical and electronic systems in accordance with AIS standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with certification agencies and internal teams to ensure timely compliance approvals.
Diagnostics & Issue Resolution
- Analyse electrical system performance issues and diagnostic data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Cross-functional Engineering Coordination
- Coordinate with Product Development E&E teams, vehicle engineering, suppliers, and testing teams on design reviews, validation activities, and issue closure.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Automotive Electrical & Electronics (E&E) systems.
- Experience in Design Verification Plan (DVP) preparation and execution.
- Knowledge of AIS homologation requirements and regulatory compliance processes.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture, wiring systems, and electronic modules.
Education Qualification
Experience & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in automotive Electrical & Electronics engineering, validation, testing, or product development.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or vehicle engineering organizations preferred.
- Exposure to homologation, diagnostics, validation testing, and vehicle integration activities will be an advantage.
