As part of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team at First Citizens Bank, the Information Security Engineer II will be responsible for analyzing, building, configuring, and maintaining Identity & Access Management Life cycle.  This person should possess strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills as well as experience in the different phases of the software life cycle, to support multiple projects, development of SOP's and day-to-day functional capabilities.

About the Team:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program supports end-to-end access management for all employees, contractors and the systems and applications to which access is granted.

Impact:

This position resides within the Cyber Security organization supporting the deployment, engineering and ongoing maintenance of the tools and the systems they utilize to keep the IAM program moving forward. This will be an individual contributor role reporting directly to the IAM Program Manager.

Key Deliverables

• Documents IAM runbook, playbooks, and administration tasks as appropriate
• Interfaces with Application, IT, Infrastructure and Support teams for application integration and runtime issues to the IAM platform
• Delegates IAM tasks and support to Tier-1 and Tier-2 as appropriate.
• Automate operational workflows, rule tuning, and reporting using scripting and API-based integrations.
•  Ensure adherence to security policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards, including documentation and evidence readiness.
• Identity Lifecycle Management (JML - Joiner, Mover, Leaver)
• Access Request and Approval workflows
• Provisioning and Deprovisioning
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)
• Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Access Certification and Recertification

Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)

Functional Skills:

• Strong expertise in analysis and onboarding applications to SailPoint. Good articulation skills. Good knowledge of scripting
• Ability to customize identity & access management tool for Joiner Mover & Leaver processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on technical execution.

Technical/Business Skills:

•  4+ Years of experience in analysis and application onboarding.
