Business Intelligence (BI) Developer – Power BI / SQL / ETL

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced BI Developer who is passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights. You will play a key role in building dashboards, optimizing data pipelines, and enabling business stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI / Tableau / Qlik

• Build and optimize ETL pipelines using SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools

• Develop and maintain scalable data models (star schema, snowflake schema)

• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms

• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reporting systems

• Implement data governance, validation checks, and row-level security (RLS)

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business teams

• Troubleshoot and enhance performance of BI systems

• Maintain proper documentation, version control, and BI best practice

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role

• Strong expertise in at least one BI tool: Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or Qlik

• Advanced SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, ADF, etc.)

• Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)

• Experience with DAX and M Query (for Power BI developers)

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
