Business Intelligence Manager

What You Will Do

As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will lead a small sales support team responsible for ensuring the sales organisation is equipped with the tools, insights, and processes needed to operate effectively. You will oversee the efficient, accurate, and cost-effective processing of sales transactions while providing analytical support that helps drive business performance. Working closely with Sales, Operations, and senior stakeholders, you will interpret business data, develop meaningful reporting, and identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness. This is a highly visible role that combines team leadership, business analysis, and continuous process improvement to support commercial growth.

How You Will Do It

  • Lead and develop a small sales support team, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.
  • Ensure sales transactions are processed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company policies.
  • Manage and maintain sales reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Analyse sales performance data and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Produce and interpret regular sales reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across sales systems and reporting platforms.
  • Support strategic planning activities through robust analysis and business recommendations.
  • Monitor team workload and resource allocation to ensure service levels are achieved.

What We Are Looking For

Required:

  • University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, sales operations, sales support, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business data.
  • Experience producing management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency with business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting a commercial or sales organisation.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales performance management tools.
  • Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
