Senior .NET MAUI Developer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET MAUI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cross-platform mobile development, modern data technologies, and the ability to mentor junior developers while driving architectural decisions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our mobile applications.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing production-grade .NET MAUI applications.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- .NET Architecture: Thorough understanding of .NET architectural patterns including Clean Architecture, MVVM, and microservices design principles.
- C# Proficiency: Solid, in-depth knowledge of C# — including async/await, LINQ, generics, dependency injection, and modern language features.
- MongoDB: Good working knowledge of MongoDB — schema design, indexing strategies, aggregation pipelines, and integration with .NET.
- GraphQL: Ability to design and work with GraphQL queries, mutations, and subscriptions within a .NET ecosystem.
- AI Tooling: Comfortable leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI code review assistants) to accelerate development and improve code quality.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Contribute individually to the project at both functional and technical levels — owning features end-to-end from design through delivery.
- Make and document key architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with project goals.
- Actively mentor and support junior developers — conducting code reviews, pair programming sessions, and providing guidance to help them complete tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and stability issues within the application.
- Stay current with evolving .NET MAUI releases, platform updates, and industry best practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with offline-first architectures and sync frameworks (e.g., PowerSync).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile (App Center, GitHub Actions, Fastlane).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Prior experience with Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, or other crash reporting tools.
