HIRING | JAVA CORE BANKING PRODUCT SUPPORT ENGINEER

Role: Java-Based Core Banking Application Product Support Engineer

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai

CTC - 18 LPA

Experience: 4–7 Years

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Java Core Banking Product Support Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise banking applications. The role involves production support, incident resolution, defect analysis, RCA, deployments, and coordination with business, technology, and vendor teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Java/J2EE-based core banking applications
  • Troubleshoot Java, REST APIs, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, batch jobs & integrations
  • Investigate logs, database issues, interface failures & application errors
  • Manage incidents, problems & changes following ITIL practices
  • Support deployments, patching, release validation & smoke testing
  • Perform RCA and document corrective/preventive actions
  • Ensure security, audit, compliance & change-control standards

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

4–7 years in Application/Production Support or Software Engineering

Strong Java/J2EE development & troubleshooting skills

Strong Oracle SQL & PL/SQL knowledge

REST/SOAP, XML, JSON & integration troubleshooting

Experience with Core Banking/Financial Services applications

Batch processing, schedulers, file & interface support

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar Core Banking platforms
  • Banking domains: Deposits, Payments, Loans, CIF & Transactions
  • Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, ServiceNow & CI/CD
  • WebLogic/Tomcat and Splunk/ELK/AppDynamics/Dynatrace
  • Cloud, containers & microservices exposure
  • Experience with mission-critical banking applications
