We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a consumer product data science team that uses robust data foundations, metrics, experimentation, and advanced modeling to guide product growth. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to identify opportunities, create data products, and turn complex analysis into high-impact decisions.
Tasks
- Providing administrative support (scheduling appointments, maintaining office supplies, etc);
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office space (coordinating repairs, managing office equipment, and overseeing office security);
- Personnel management tasks such as conducting orientation for new employees, and managing employee records;
- Monitoring and controlling office expenses, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with the finance department;
- Planning and coordinating company events (meetings, conferences, parties, etc) which includes arranging venues, managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the smooth execution of the events;
- Maintaining files, records, and databases, as well as ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations;
- Improvement of the office efficiency and productivity;
- Supervise and provide support to administrative staff (assign tasks, provide guidance and training, and foster a positive and productive work environment).
Requirements
Must have:
- Five or more years of data science, machine learning, or related experience;
- Advanced SQL and Python skills;
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, causal inference, and experimental design;
- Experience processing and analyzing large-scale data with Spark, Hadoop, or Hive;
- Strong product sense and communication with cross-functional partners;
- A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in consumer technology;
- Experience with BigQuery;
- Experience with R, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
