[ECA] Embedded Software Test Engineer

Job Description

As a Embedded Senior System Test Engineer for Safety System (such as: ABS/ESP/iBooster), you will:

• Run test cases and regression tests
• Analyze defect and report defects
• Clarify open points
• Analyze requirements, design and develop test cases
• Set up test environment: SIL (Software in Loop) & HIL (Hardware in Loop)
• Coordinate team activities, and handle day-to-day work efficiently and independently
• Running & Develop automation scripts
• Set up, configure, and maintain LabCar test bench hardware and associated equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, wiring, communication, and integration issues on LabCar/HIL systems to ensure test bench availability
• Support debugging activities involving ECU connections, CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication, measurement devices, and test automation infrastructure

Qualifications

• Major in Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electrical-Electronics/ Electronics-Telecommunication/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Automotive or related fields
• Have 0.5 + years of experience in Software Testing
• Have knowledge about software life cycle
• Strong in 1 of following programming language: C/C++/Python/VBA/Perl scripting language, API programming
• Have basic knowledge of micro-controller and embedded system
• Hands-on understanding of electronic hardware, circuit fundamentals, sensors, actuators, and automotive ECU architecture
• Able to read wiring diagrams, hardware schematics, pinouts, and technical documentation
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and/or Automotive Ethernet
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues using debugging and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, CAN analyzers, multimeters, and logic analyzers
• Good English communication skills
• It would be BIG advantage if you have:• Automotive domain knowledge
• Exposure to emulators, simulators, debugging
• Knowledge of UML and design techniques
• ISTQB Foundation certificate
• Chinese language
