Vari, originally known as VariDesk®, started the standing desk revolution. Now in its 13th year, Vari’s mission is to create workspaces that elevate people. With millions of fans and a complete line of over 400 office furniture products in the market today, Vari is continuing to simplify and disrupt the office furniture industry by pioneering a direct B2C and B2B business model, reimagining how workspaces are defined, designed, and delivered.

Vari is looking to add a Project Manager to its Operations team responsible for managing projects for customers across the country. This person will be self-motivated, a team player, and must be able to travel up to 85% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track the end-to-end lifecycle of projects and report takeaways to internal stakeholders
  • Manage bid communications with approved vendors and negotiate bids in line with budgeted cost
  • Manage the onsite delivery and installation of office furniture at customer sites across the country
  • Guide installation crews during execution and educate as needed on product and related efficiency gains
  • Drive a high standard of service across all channels with a focus on elevating the overall customer experience
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams (Sales, Design, Product Development, Accounting, and Operations) to generate project clarity, report on lessons learned, and establish best practices
  • Direct the flow of product between internal warehouse/transportation teams, vendors, and customers
  • Manage a multi project pipeline with quick turnarounds, aligning with our speed to market approach
  • Proactively communicate status updates, adjust prioritization, and identify potential risks to project success
  • Monitor and track actual verse budgeted project spend
  • Identify process and procedural enhancements for continuous operational

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in operations, supply chain, management, or project management preferred
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in both company headquarters and customer installation sites
  • Strong work ethic with sound decision-making skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Adapt well to change, able to multi-task, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong written/verbal communication skills
  • 2 to 3 years or relevant experience
  • Proficiency working in CRM and ERP systems (SalesForce, SAP, and Netsuite)
  • Able to maintain all workload with demanding travel schedules
  • Must be available to travel up to 85% of the time.
