How you'll make an impact in this role
- Financial Modeling & Scalable Architecture: Build detailed, scalable models and outputs that manage thousands of data records, supporting broader strategic initiatives and establishing defined analytical perspectives.
- Granular Income Statement Mastery: Perform end-to-end P&L analyses down to Net Income (Revenue and all Expense lines) across multiple organizational tiers—from community-level to region and total Ascension Living division.
- Operational & Productivity Analytics: Integrate non-financial operational drivers into financial models, including resident counts, resident days, hours, pay data, labor productivity, and key healthcare metrics like Hours Per Resident Day (HPRD).
- System & Platform Data Operations: Work directly within core systems, platforms, and data hierarchies (such as OCI, Sage Intacct, or SAP) to extract, manipulate, and structure data income statements and operational inputs.
- Team Leadership & Decision Support: Serve as a technical lead and resource for other analysts, partnering with senior leadership to deliver regular reporting, forecasting, budget processes, and ad-hoc decision support.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional requirements you'll need
- Education & Domain Expertise: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, with experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare operations.
- Advanced Enterprise Tech Stack: Hands-on experience navigating enterprise ERP and database platforms (OCI, Sage Intacct, SAP) and managing complex financial hierarchies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex, system-level data into clear insights for cross-functional partners and executives.
