A Bit About Us

VERIDAPT is a technology company helping some of the world’s largest industrial organisations better measure, monitor and manage their operations.

Our technology is deployed across complex environments including mining, energy, rail and industrial operations, combining IoT, telemetry, cloud-connected systems and field hardware to deliver reliable operational data and insights.

We’re a global team that values curiosity, collaboration, tenacity and trust — and we’re looking for a technically minded Support Engineer to join our Customer Support team across the Americas.

The Role

As our Support Engineer – LATAM, you’ll be a hands-on technical resource supporting VERIDAPT customers, service partners and internal teams across the Americas.

You’ll troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues, support project implementations and commissioning activities, and work closely with customers and partners to ensure our systems are operating reliably in the field.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys getting to the root cause of problems, working across hardware, software and communications systems, and building strong relationships with customers and technical teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide remote and occasional onsite technical support to customers and service partners across the Americas.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues across hardware, software, networking, cloud connectivity, telemetry, communications and field infrastructure.
  • Analyse logs, alerts, monitoring systems, connectivity behaviour and operational data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support field technicians, customer operational teams and partners during incidents and technical investigations.
  • Troubleshoot communications interruptions, telemetry failures, device availability issues, data synchronisation problems and other operational issues.
  • Support the implementation, configuration and commissioning of VERIDAPT solutions.
  • Assist with device provisioning, system configuration, validation, onboarding and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate technical deliverables and support project handovers into ongoing support operations.
  • Work closely with partners to ensure installations and commissioning activities meet VERIDAPT standards.
  • Identify capability or technical knowledge gaps within our partner network and support structured training and knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides, technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with our global Product, Platform Engineering, Delivery and Field Services teams to resolve issues and continually improve our products and processes.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally bring:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Automation & Control, Networking or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in technical support, field engineering, systems engineering, telecommunications or project engineering.
  • Experience within industrial, mining, rail, operational technology or similar environments is highly regarded.
  • Exposure to control systems, instrumentation, wiring, pump systems or field hardware would be advantageous.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish — bilingual capability is essential.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of: Networking, VPN connectivity, SIM and cellular communications, IoT systems, remote telemetry and cloud-connected systems.
  • A hands-on mindset and genuine interest in field technology and operational troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with global teams.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to meet health clearance requirements for mining site and high-altitude work where required.

You’ll Thrive Here If You

  • Love solving complex technical problems and following them through to resolution.
  • Take ownership rather than waiting for someone else to fix the issue.
  • Enjoy working across customers, engineers, field technicians and service partners.
  • Are comfortable operating in fast-moving and sometimes challenging field environments.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, even when troubleshooting high-pressure operational issues.
  • Look for ways to improve systems, processes and customer outcomes.
  • Enjoy learning new technologies and sharing your knowledge with others.

Why Join VERIDAPT?

At VERIDAPT, you’ll work with technology that operates in some of the world’s most demanding industrial environments.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad technical landscape — from IoT devices and telemetry through to networking, cloud connectivity and customer operations — while collaborating with experienced teams across the globe.

Most importantly, you’ll have real ownership and the opportunity to make a visible impact on our customers, our technology and the way we deliver support across the Americas.
