Job Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial leadership and act as a trusted business partner for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Finance Greece & GRO cluster synergies. This high-visibility role partners closely with Finance and cross-functional teams to support planning cycles, forecast updates, latest thinking, and closing activities. The Senior Financial Analyst leverages strong analytical capabilities to generate actionable insights that drive business performance and support strategic decision-making. The role also involves presenting financial analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong business partnering skills, the ability to navigate complexity, challenge assumptions, and take ownership in a dynamic environment.
Role Purpose
The Senior Finance Analyst acts as a strategic business partner, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making and delivery of organizational G&Os.
The role combines financial planning, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong ownership and accountability for key financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Act as a trusted finance partner to commercial and functional stakeholders
- Translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations to support business decisions
- Proactively challenge assumptions and ask insightful questions to drive value creation
- Support pricing, GTN, and strategic initiatives with data-driven analysis
2. Financial Planning & Performance Management
- Support:• Planning cycles BP, JU, LRFP, NU
- Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles
- Latest thinkins
- Provide variance analysis vs plan/forecast, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Monitor OPEX, Headcount (HC), and key KPIs, ensuring alignment with targets
- Enable clear visibility on cost drivers and margin evolution
- Take full ownership of deliverables and timelines
- Anticipate issues and flag risks proactively
3. Reporting & Insights Generation
- Develop and maintain robust financial reports and dashboards. Ensure reporting is accurate, timely & understandable for non-finance stakeholders
- Deliver actionable insights, not just data
4. Process Optimization & Digitalization
- Identify and implement process improvements and simplifications• Leverage tools such as Excel (advanced), Power Query / Power BI / automation tools, SAP Galaxy
- Drive efficiency and reduce manual effort in reporting/planning processes
5. Compliance, Controls & Audit Readiness
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements & Financial policies and SOPs
- Support audits and provide required documentation
- Maintain strong governance and documentation standards
6. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Collaborate cross-functionally
- Educate stakeholders on financial topics to drive better decisions

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€43,200.00 - €68,885.00
