Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

The Regulatory Retention E-Communications Archive team are growing to meet the demands of our business partners. The teams are responsible for engineering and development in support of the Bank Enterprise Regulatory E-Communications Archive for e-discovery and supervision services. The team process, archive, and own record management for 50+ data feeds. They carry out all automation, metrics, and reporting for these services.

Typical work items may include onboarding new feeds, occasionally, this will be in partnership with Line of Business teams, in other instances, the requirement will be managed end to end. Design and develop automation to improve onboarding workflows. Validation of controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Required Qualifications:

  •  Minimum 7yrs of experience as a Software Developer.
  • Experience with design, development and implementation of technical integrations to timely delivery
  • Develop code that will translate from files of varying types (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV, Tab Delimited, etc.) into a specific XML format
  • Capture and log any exceptions and abnormalities with automated responses
  • Documentation critic to ensure all custom integrations are rigorously documented for supportability and transparency
  • Work independently and co-operatively within a team to achieve the following:
  • Document and validate requirements
  • Plan work sprints and provide delivery timelines
  • Perform backend development (business logic).
  • Provide day to day support for data and application.
  • Ability to configure vendor products and build integrations.

Pay range

$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
