Key Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
- Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.
- Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
- Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.
- Maintain accurate project records, including milestones, billings, SoV, and documentation within DivPro.
- Assign commissioning work and oversee field personnel.
- Review and approve weekly timecards for Controls Technicians.
- Approve and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) for each project.
- Provide monthly project updates, including billing and financial reporting, to senior management.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction project management.
- Strong understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and automation.
- Technical expertise in electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong organizational and project planning skills with attention to detail.
- OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two (2) years is required.
- If certification is not current or has not been completed, OSHA 30 training will be provided and must be successfully completed within the first week of employment.
- Proficiency in project management software and documentation tools.
