Role Summary:
The Analyst, Financial Operations is responsible for supporting the financial and operational oversight of assigned programs, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of transactions, strong financial controls, and high-quality service delivery. The role is focused on monitoring program performance, managing operational risk, and supporting financial exceptions across client programs.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Program Execution & Financial Oversight
- Manage daily operational and financial activities within assigned program(s)
- Ensure accurate processing of transactions, including validations, reconciliations, and exception handling
- Monitor operational flows within programs to ensure alignment with contractual terms and operational guidelines
- Perform regular reconciliations across program data, transaction records, and system outputs
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, breaks, or inconsistencies in transactional data
- Support resolution of issues in coordination with internal teams (Legal, Capital Markets, Finance, Technology)
- Maintain audit-ready documentation of all activities
Risk Management & Controls
- Identify, assess, and escalate risks within assigned programs, proactively highlight exceptions, unusual trends, or potential exposures
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting on program performance, volumes, and financial metrics
- Support stakeholders with data-driven insights to improve decision-making
Stakeholder & Client Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for all program-related queries
- Coordinate actions and exceptions with internal and external stakeholders
- Support communication of program updates, performance, and issue resolution
Systems & Data Integrity
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes affecting financial data and processes
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and data accuracy
- Ensure accurate system configuration and usage aligned with program requirements
- Support data integrity controls across systems and reporting frameworks
What You Bring to the Team:
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in operations, financial operations, or a related analytical role
- Strong understanding of financial processes (reconciliation, controls, transaction flows)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial data analysis and reporting, interest calculation, and reports validation.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- Italian or Spanish language knowledge is a plus
