The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance programs that ensure services are delivered consistently and in accordance with company, client, and regulatory standards. This role oversees quality audits, compliance initiatives, performance metrics, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement efforts to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance programs and processes.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections, audits, and site assessments to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate quality concerns, customer complaints, and operational deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with operations leadership to establish quality goals and service level expectations.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, audit findings, and performance trends to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, safety, and company regulations.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and training materials.
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and conduct quality-related training for managers, supervisors, and frontline employees.
  • Manage client inspections and support customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Track corrective and preventive action plans to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of quality assurance, operations management, facilities management, or related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience analyzing data and creating performance reports.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, reporting tools, and database systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Lean Six Sigma Certification, or related quality certifications.
  • Experience in janitorial, facilities management, manufacturing, aviation, healthcare, or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel between multiple locations as needed.
  • Ability to walk facilities for extended periods while conducting inspections and audits.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate operational needs.
