Membership Data Projects Analyst – 3-Month Contract

Position Summary

The Membership Data Projects Analyst is a temporary, project-based role that supports time-limited initiatives within Membership Services, such as database clean-up, data migration, system integration, and data quality projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Membership Services, the incumbent performs high-volume data entry, data cleansing, and database management tasks tied to a specific project scope and timeline. This position may also assist with membership administration or member-facing service duties.

Annual Salary

$ 20.36 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry into the membership database to support assigned special projects, including bulk record updates, imports, and file conversions.
  • Conduct data cleansing activities, including identifying and correcting duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent member records, and standardizing data fields to established formatting conventions.
  • Support database management tasks during migrations, integrations, or rebrand-related updates, including data validation, field mapping, and reconciliation between source systems and the membership database.
  • Execute assigned project work plans under the direction of the Senior Manager, Membership Services, tracking progress against defined milestones and deliverables within the project timeline.
  • Generate data quality and reconciliation reports, and maintain audit trails documenting cleansing actions taken, to support project sign-off.
  • Investigate and document data discrepancies identified during the project (for example, membership category mismatches or count and revenue variances), and escalate findings to the Senior Manager, Membership Services.
  • Assist with testing and validation of data changes before and after system updates, migrations, or configuration changes related to the project.
  • Maintain clear documentation of data cleansing methodology and decisions to support knowledge transfer at project close-out.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of member information in accordance with privacy policies and applicable legislation throughout all project activities.
  • Perform other data-related project duties as assigned within the scope of the assigned initiative.
  • Provide day-to-day support to Membership Service Representatives by assisting with routine inquiries, administrative tasks, or data lookups needed to resolve member issues.

Qualifications

Education

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with data entry, data cleansing, and database management, ideally within a membership, customer, or association management system.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when working with large volumes of data.
  • Good understanding of customer service, basic computer skills, and basic accounting
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Bilingual skills (English and French), both written and oral, are an asset.
