Overview
This position is a member of the Cybersecurity organization reporting to the Sr Manager of Security Architecture. This technical role will be responsible for leading the security architecture strategy and architecture review for multiple product teams, serving as a technical advisor, mentor security architects, and champion agile/security architecture excellence, driving the secure by design initiative and conducting threat modeling for key business use cases. This position requires close partnership with product and platform leaders to make risk-informed design decisions, and ability to present clearly and adequately to leadership.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
- Conduct security review and assessment of technical solution architectures.
- Lead architecture threat modeling and document secure by design requirements.
- Define security patterns and standards; advise enterprise architects.
- Serve as the technical security advisor across teams, providing consulting to product owners and senior stakeholders on threat-informed and risk-based security.
- Design security architecture processes, drive security architecture excellence and track metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as an agile coach and culture champion and participate in agile scrum ceremonies.
- Support Senior Manager in mentoring other security architects and engineers.
- Build reusable automation tools and workflows using AI, Python, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, etc.; contribute to defining security architecture standards.
Qualifications
Listed below are the mandatory key skills/experience required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years in information security including threat modeling, secure by design requirements and security architecture assessments.
- Experience reviewing technical architecture of solutions deployment on-premises and in the cloud environment, such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Deep information security knowledge of protocols, security technologies; industry standards and best practices.
- Strong foundation in information security across multiple domains such as network security, identity and access management, and data security.
- Experience providing security architecture support to agile product teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Listed below are the differentiating competencies/skills required for success in this role:
- Previous experience in security engineering and architecture teams.
- Experience working in an agile/lean engineering environment.
- Experience driving security related changes within a business.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security Principles, and implementation
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the cloud environments, like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Expertise in building reusable automation tools using AI, Python, PowerApps, etc.
Compensation and Benefits:• The expected starting compensation range for this position is 334,200 PLN annually (gross).• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
