Full-Stack Java Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Java Data Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Apache Spark, Snowflake, and React or Angular.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across backend services, data engineering pipelines, cloud data platforms, and modern frontend applications. This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals along with hands-on experience building scalable APIs, distributed data-processing solutions, and enterprise web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.

• Develop large-scale data-processing pipelines using Apache Spark / PySpark / Spark SQL.

• Design and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and semi-structured data.

• Build and maintain data solutions using Snowflake.

• Develop data ingestion, transformation, validation, and processing workflows.

• Implement batch and, where required, real-time data-processing solutions.

• Optimize Spark jobs, Snowflake queries, and data pipelines for performance and scalability.

• Design and maintain frontend applications using React.js or Angular.

• Integrate frontend applications with Spring Boot APIs and backend services.

• Build reusable UI components and responsive enterprise dashboards.

• Work with relational and cloud-based databases.

• Implement data validation, error handling, monitoring, and logging.

• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

• Write unit, integration, API, and frontend tests.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices.

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Backend Engineers, Frontend Developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
