Job title:  Finance Assistant 2

Location: Santiago

Working Model: On-Site

Schedule: M-F 08:00 AM - 05:30 PM

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:

 

The Financial Analyst will prepare accounting and analysis activities to support Business Unit Finance, SG&A Finance and FP&A. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Perform month-end close tasks to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Produce and analyze weekly and monthly key metrics
  • Prepare financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls (SOX) or other financial reporting standards. 
  • Conduct or support various business initiatives and projects including pricing, bids, sales exceptions, commission adjustments, testing, and other analytical work
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
  • Solid business acumen, ability to critically think and problem solving.                                       
  • Ability to independently prioritize, proactive vs reactive approach to job duties.                        
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills                                 
  • Training/Mentoring other analysts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS: 

 

 

Required:

 

  • 2+ years as financial analyst.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • Five years or more of related experience required.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and present results
  • Proficient in accounting and financial analysis software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
