The Sr. Manager, Product Management/Business Analyst leads the articulation of current and future business needs and the development and coordination of infrastructure and software to enable execution of business processes. Responsibilities include driving the end-to-end lifecycle of key product initiatives, from initial ideation and market research to detailed requirements gathering, feature definition, and launch support.
Responsibilities and Duties: Take responsibility for all aspects of a life cycle of a group of products, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Stay abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the products' competitive position. Take responsibility for managing the definition, development, and delivery of a significant product or service within the product development and engineering program, ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Manage the development and/or delivery of a significant element of the organization's product/service development program, creating and driving the product/service road map and managing the backlog. Lead development of new innovations or support business units and teams in new product and service initiatives, acting as a methodology expert and facilitator for the most-critical innovation teams across the company. Document the most complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required. Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level. Lead the improvement efforts to be made that are within span of control at this level. Manage a portfolio of major projects in line with overall project management strategy. Review the backlog of work for a large project or program and reprioritize the work and the deployment of project resources to reduce costs and increase the value of the work delivered to the business. Identify new external developments and/or emerging issues within an area of technology or business function and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization. Develop and manage the delivery of a plan to evaluate and track business benefits and to identify actions needed to maximize them. Contribute to and maintain a roadmap to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements. Identify and manage stakeholders up to and including management level, finding out their needs, issues, and concerns and reacting to them by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions. Provide authoritative specialist advice to senior managers at the business unit or regional level to enable the implementation of policy, projects, and change initiatives. Drive a culture of innovation by creating multi-stakeholder solutions that boost creativity, innovation, and collaboration across business units, such as idea generation platforms, jam sessions, and hackathons. Manage and report on performance within the department or area of responsibility; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives. Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate Team members to commit to these and to do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals. Deliver a budget for an area of the organization or conduct complex analyses on budget progress in other areas of the organization. Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy. Evaluate the capabilities of staff within the department to identify gaps and prioritize development activities. Implement the organization's formal development frameworks within the area of responsibility. Coach and mentor others to support the development of the organization's talent pool.

Analyzes and researches market conditions and facts in order to develop a full and comprehensive understanding of the market to enable it to be utilized for the benefit of the organization Determines and analyzes trends from data that is collected to assist in compiling reports that will help in decision-making. Identifies potential stakeholders, analyzes their expectations, and develops strategies for managing stakeholders and their expectations. Reviews and evaluates recommendations and requirements and to develop appropriate plans or deliver actions required. Plans and manages small project work assignments within desired cost, time and quality parameters. Plans, identifies, monitors, analyzes, and prioritizes risks, threats, and opportunities to create response plans, and manage the risk if it occurs. Identifies, sequences, and resources project schedules for timely completion. Identifies, verifies, and manages changes to the scope of the project or program, utilizing the most appropriate approach. Identifies, tracks, and enables the achievement of the planned benefits and intended outcomes of a program and associated projects. Ensures that Team Members at all levels in the organization possess and develop the skills knowledge and experiences needed to fulfill the short-term and long-term ambitions of the organization and that they are motivated to learn, grow and develop. Shifts into and out of a mental mindset associated with assessing the facts and circumstances of the current situation and/or environment, and making the appropriate/innovative adjustments to thinking and work habits to thrive in any scenario. Demonstrates a change mindset as well as plans, executes and monitors activities during times of change whilst keeping performance levels up.
