Full description

Description The Auto Program Delivery Monitoring Team is looking for a Senior Analyst/Consultant that will partner with stakeholders to analyze and inform the latest Personal Lines Auto pricing programs. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to be a direct and key contributor to US Retail Markets profit and growth goals and help shape current and future pricing programs. You will be responsible for defining key metrics, analyzing & visualizing new product results, identifying key trends, maintaining communication & relationships with stakeholders across the organization, and informing future product rollouts.

**This position may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location. The level of position offered will be based on skills and experience at manager discretion. **

Responsibilities:

  • Fully own the top-line monitoring and analysis (close ratio, premium levels, mix, et al) of major program supporting Liberty Mutual & Safeco Auto lines of business. Including looking at state and countrywide results.
  • Provide analysis & timely updates on product performance to key stakeholders including Director of State Operations, Solutions, Modeling, Risk Analytics, and Delivery team members.
  • Collaborate with Data Strategy & Solutions and the Data Office to ensure the proper monitoring datasets and reports are available Day 1.
  • Query data to conduct ad hoc analysis of metrics; manipulates and understands the data at hand to tell a comprehensive and insightful story to a non-technical audience
  • Build new best-in-class processes, visuals, tools and approaches to understand preliminary market results with limited data.
  • Serve as team member on high complexity projects and lead own work stream.
  • Offers insights into the design and expectations of future product launches.
  • Will become subject matter expert in Personal Lines Auto rollout(s).
  • Takes an active role in onboarding and asking questions to gain complete understanding of the rollout process and data analytics

Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field. Minimum 3 years, typically 4 years or more of relevant work experience.

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization (e.g. Power BI or Tableau) and experience with data analysis software or other technical skills (e.g. SQL, Python and Snowflake).
  • Prior Personal Lines experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must have proficient planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills
