We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise web and desktop applications supporting mission-critical classification and information management systems. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing applications using Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, Microsoft technologies, and legacy platforms while supporting modern web services and enterprise integrations.

The ideal candidate has experience developing Java-based enterprise applications, Microsoft desktop and web solutions, web services, and legacy application modernization within secure government environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise desktop and web-based applications supporting mission-critical systems
  • Develop classification and information management tools using Java, Python, C, C++, Visual Basic, and Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Develop enterprise applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework
  • Design and implement RESTful and SOAP-based web services
  • Develop and maintain JavaScript-based application services and interactive web applications
  • Build responsive web user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Develop and maintain applications utilizing Apache CXF and Apache Tomcat
  • Work with XML and SOAP messaging to support enterprise system integrations
  • Maintain and enhance existing Lotus Notes applications while supporting legacy system modernization initiatives
  • Develop and maintain Microsoft Office and Microsoft Web Office solutions
  • Troubleshoot application issues and implement enhancements to improve system performance and reliability
  • Participate in software testing, code reviews, and application deployments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise software solutions
  • Develop technical documentation supporting application design, implementation, and maintenance

Required Qualifications

  • Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
  • Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
  • Experience developing desktop and web applications using C, C++, Visual Basic, and Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Experience developing enterprise applications using Java
  • Experience developing applications using the Spring Boot framework
  • Experience developing classification or enterprise software tools using scripting languages and web services
  • Experience utilizing Apache CXF for enterprise web service development
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications using Apache Tomcat
  • Strong understanding of XML and SOAP-based web services
  • Experience using JavaScript to develop enterprise application services
  • Experience developing responsive web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience maintaining and enhancing Lotus Notes applications
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and software development skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience developing applications using Python
