As a Developer III, Business Analytics and Data Intelligence, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions within PDS Health. Your role involves designing and implementing BI (Business Intelligence) solutions using our Snowflake Data Warehouse, writing SQL queries, utilizing Epic data, and Microsoft Power BI Fabric dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL programming and a deep understanding of data strategies, including data modeling, relational databases, star schema design, and Lakehouse architectures. This role involves close collaboration with business and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable business intelligence solutions. Leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the candidate will design and develop intuitive dashboards and reports that enable stakeholders to effectively use data to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Experience developing custom BI products including Microsoft Power BI and Epic Cogito BI stack.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming.
  • Certification in Epic Clarity PB data model and Epic Cogito preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with excellent presentation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases, star schema, data lake, and data modeling.
  • Experience working with Data Warehouses.
  • Expertise in data and business analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude, debugging, and issue resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ownership, commitment, and accountability in tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensures compliance with all policies and standards, as well as state, federal and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required in quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer
  • Science, Finance, Economics, etc). In lieu of degree, 7+ years of professional experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience writing SQL and Power BI, or Epic Cogito.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced knowledge of pricing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in VBA and Excel Macros.
  • Familiarity in data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Familiarity with other Epic reporting solutions such as Radar, Metrics, SlicerDicer build.
  • Experience with healthcare data analytics.

Compensation Information
