JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40WORK SHIFT: Position is 8 hours daily and can begin as early as 6:30 am to get the 8 hours in. Can clock in as late as 8:30 then get 8 hours. Position is Monday thru Friday.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for analyzing, researching, compiling data and providing results, variances and trends of Medicare, Medicaid and other payors which would promote positive process improvements within the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma required. 3+ years of progressive in-depth related governmental reimbursement experience. Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Healthcare Accounts Receivables and Patient Access. Experience with innovative methodology for capturing and identifying metrics of key performance indicators and knowledge of conducting patient account audits. Demonstrate ability to focus on detail, multi-task and adapt to changing work priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Use Microsoft Office in performance of duties and responsibilities.   Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors in Accounting or related field preferred.   Physical Demands:      Must possess good physical health.  Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time.  Lifting at least 20 pounds is required.   Physical Effort required:         Constant (67%-100%) – talking, hearing, seeing Frequently (34%-66%)– NONE Occasionally (1%-33%)- lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling/feeling
