We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD, OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitOps, Service Mesh, and DevOps automation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and containerized application environments across Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms. The role requires strong practical experience in enterprise DevOps environments, automation, microservices security, observability, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities• Design, implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise application deployments.
- Build and manage deployment pipelines across container technologies including Native Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
- Implement and manage Jenkins-based Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Jenkins Shared Libraries, Pipeline-as-Code, and Groovy scripting for CI/CD automation.
- Implement and manage GitOps-based deployment practices using tools such as ArgoCD.
- Work with development and engineering teams to automate application build, deployment, release, and environment management processes.
- Manage and support multiple application environments across development, testing, staging, and production.
- Implement and maintain Service Mesh solutions within containerized and microservices environments.
- Support secure communication between microservices and understand microservice authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, configure, and manage different application environments.
- Implement DevOps automation to improve deployment reliability, repeatability, and efficiency.
- Monitor application and platform health and troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and pipeline issues.
- Implement and maintain enterprise logging and monitoring solutions.
- Work with ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana for centralized logging, monitoring, metrics, dashboards, and troubleshooting.
- Support production deployments, incident resolution, performance monitoring, and continuous platform improvements.
- Contribute to DevOps standards, automation frameworks, engineering best practices, and platform reliability initiatives.
Required Technical SkillsCI/CD & Automation• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with Jenkins.
- Experience developing Jenkins Shared Libraries.
- Strong understanding of Pipeline-as-Code.
- Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting for Jenkins automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.
Kubernetes & OpenShift• Strong hands-on experience with Native Kubernetes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and deployments.
- Experience deploying and managing containerized applications across Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
- Strong understanding of container-based application deployment and orchestration.
GitOps• Practical experience with GitOps methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools.
- Understanding of automated, declarative application deployment and environment management.
Service Mesh & Microservices Security• Practical hands-on experience with Service Mesh technologies.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of microservice authentication and authorization processes.
- Understanding of secure service-to-service communication.
Monitoring & Observability• Strong understanding of enterprise logging and monitoring solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ELK Stack.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana.
- Ability to troubleshoot application and platform issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring dashboards.
Required Competencies• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
