Our team manages the IT infrastructure for more than 30 locations and 2000+ users worldwide. Together, we make sure our business can operate safely and efficiently by combining strong network foundations with the right security measures, enabling a resilient and future-proof digital workplace.

  • Your activities can range from network changes, connectivity setups and application integrations to implementing and optimizing security controls across our IT environment. You help ensure that our network architecture and security posture evolve alongside the needs of our business and production environments.
  • You take ownership of operational support by monitoring the network and security environment, following up incidents with external partners, and leading 3th level troubleshooting when required. You coordinate connectivity and security-related changes with internal stakeholders and external suppliers in areas such as WAN, firewalls, SD-WAN, cloud services, identity management and certificates.
  • In this role, you combine a hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset. You identify risks, propose improvements and contribute to the development of a robust, secure and scalable infrastructure roadmap.

To be successful in this role, we believe you bring:

  • A relevant academic background and 5 years of experience in a similar role within network and/or security engineering.
  • Good knowledge of firewall technologies, network segmentation, SD-WAN concepts and general network security principles.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining security controls in a modern enterprise environment.
  • A broad understanding of IT infrastructure with hands-on experience in areas such as:
  • Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and certificates.
  • Servers, storage and virtualization technologies.
  • IT infrastructure in production environments (OT experience is considered a plus).
  • Good knowledge of ITIL processes and the ability to apply them in daily operations.
  • A broad interest in infrastructure and security topics, enabling you to evaluate challenges and define future-proof solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, external partners and suppliers.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude combined with a flexible mindset and a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Language skills that include Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is considered a plus.
