▶︎ Job Details ・Job Title: Senior Security Engineer / Advanced Security Engineer ・Client: Japanese IT Company ・Working Location: New York, NY 10022 ・Working Style: Onsite / Hybrid ・Employment Type: Full-time ・Salary: 100-120K/ per year(DOE) ・Benefit: Standard benefits  ・Visa Support: Possible ・Working Hours: 9AM - 5PM  ・Language: Japanese and English

▶ Key Responsibilities:• Analyze client security needs, market trends, and business requirements to design customized cybersecurity solutions

  • Provide technical consultation and security recommendations based on best practices
  • Manage pre-sales and post-sales technical projects, coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Conduct security assessments and design tailored security architectures
  • Build, operate, and enhance security technologies including log analysis, endpoint security, and network security
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on cybersecurity product and service delivery
  • Troubleshoot complex security issues across servers, networks, and telephony environments
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical incidents (non-shift based)
  • Support existing customer accounts and resolve technical security issues
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers
  • Maintain detailed documentation for system configuration, troubleshooting, and project progress
  • Research cybersecurity products and prepare proposals and quotations
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness through seminars and external publications
  • Build strong client relationships and support secure IT infrastructure development

  • Knowledge of SASE, EDR, and vulnerability assessment tools
  • MSP / MSSP operational experience
  • Secure configuration standards (CIS Benchmarks or similar)
  • Microsoft, Citrix, VMware platforms
  • Network technologies including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto
  • Unix/Linux and Windows server administration
  • LAN / WAN technologies
  • Virtualization and storage systems
