Overview

We are seeking qualified professionals across all experience levels (Junior, Mid-Level, Senior, and Lead/Project Manager) to support Federal financial management engagements focused on indirect cost rate analysis, cost allocation, and compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance). This role supports mission-critical work requiring analytical rigor, audit-ready documentation, and the ability to operate in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.

Core Responsibilities (All Levels)

  • Perform financial analysis aligned with Federal cost principles (2 CFR Part 200)
  • Support review and validation of indirect cost rates, fringe rates, and cost allocation plans
  • Analyze financial statements, cost pools, and allocation bases to assess allowability, allocability, and reasonableness
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation, reconciliation workpapers, and supporting analyses
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and financial tools for data analysis and modeling
  • Maintain documentation sufficient for Federal review, audit, and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and Government stakeholders
  • Operate in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Obtain and maintain required HHS security clearance/credentials

Level-Based Expectations

Junior Accountant (Entry-Level)

  • Provide analytical and administrative support
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliations, and documentation
  • Apply foundational accounting knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, or related)
  • 1+ year experience
  • Basic accounting and financial analysis knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and organization

Mid-Level Accountant

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and reconciliations
  • Support indirect cost and financial reviews
  • Analyze audited financial statements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years experience
  • Experience in auditing, financial analysis, or cost accounting
  • Working knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200

Senior Accountant

  • Lead complex analyses and financial reviews
  • Support negotiation of indirect cost rates and allocation plans
  • Identify compliance risks and financial issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience
  • Strong knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200, GAAP, and Federal cost principles
  • Experience with reconciliation workpapers and stakeholder coordination

Lead / Project Manager (Accounting Manager)

  • Provide overall contract oversight, quality assurance, and Government coordination
  • Manage teams, assign work, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
  • Lead complex Federal cost accounting engagements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (CPA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 8+ years Federal cost accounting experience
  • Expertise in 2 CFR Part 200, GAAP, and Federal financial management
  • Strong leadership and executive communication skills
