Job Description Summary:

Provides technical leadership and functional direction on formulation and definition of system scope and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and formulate desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written or how software will be utilized.

Works with Portfolio Architects to elaborate on the solution architecture for the application area, and reviews the detailed designs working with the technical lead to ensure compliance with overall solution vision, and guides the teams to implement solutions, and documents applications in areas including messaging and collaboration, web technologies, wireless technologies, system interfaces, database querying, and reporting.

Champions the technology and implementation for identified application area(s), manage application level technical debt, guide the application stakeholders on the prioritization of the technical scope. current applications/processes for technical performance and recommend target benchmarks. Helps the team troubleshoot any technical problems by providing problem resolution, follow-up, and education.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs
Design application, integration, data, and infrastructure architectures
Lead technical discovery t-shirt sizing activities, and ensure compliance with enterprise and domain architecture standards
Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and vendors
Collaborate with engineering, product, and delivery teams
Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
Guide and support delivery teams through design reviews and implementation guidance

Cloud Solution Architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or Google)
