Job Description
As a Controlling Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting business performance through data-driven financial analysis and insightful reporting. Working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure sound financial decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainable growth.
Your contribution to something big:
- Monitoring and analyzing profit and loss (P&L) performance to ensure alignment with budget targets and business objectives.
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports on overhead costs, budget variances, and key performance indicators.
- Supporting monthly closing activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting in SAP.
- Providing meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data and business performance metrics.
- Collaborating with directors and managers to identify efficiency improvements and cost optimization opportunities.
- Preparing recurring and ad-hoc management reports to support decision-making processes.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of controlling, reporting, and financial analysis processes.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in financial controlling, business controlling, cost accounting, financial planning, or financial analysis.
- Experience working with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis is considered an advantage.
Know-how
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is a plus.
- Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and key performance indicators.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
