Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in September 2026, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (2-3 days in the office a week – Bradford/Leeds)
Work type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

This role supports our Developer Services team, who deliver the essential water and wastewater infrastructure for new developments. We work with developers and planners to install new water connections, build sewers, divert existing pipes and provide expert pre‑planning advice to ensure every project meets regulatory standards. It’s a fast paced, varied environment where your insights will help support smarter decisions and successful outcomes for our customers and communities.

As our Finance Business Partner Support Analyst, you will:
- Drive meaningful business performance by turning data into clear, actionable insights that empower our Finance Business Partners to make informed, strategic decisions.
- Own key reporting and forecasting activities for Service Operations and Developer Services, ensuring leaders have the intelligence they need to steer the business effectively.
- Dig into our financial and enterprise systems to extract accurate, timely data that directly supports our commercial and financial goals.
- Partner with Developer Services leadership and transformation teams, playing a hands‑on role in shaping improvements and supporting change initiatives.
- Analyse complex income and cost data, transforming it into simple, compelling recommendations that guide high‑impact strategic decisions.
- Champion continuous improvement, enhancing processes and ensuring they’re efficient, consistent, and well controlled across the function.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Ideally professionally qualified, studying towards qualification, or experienced in a relevant commercial finance discipline.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in fast paced, high pressure environments.
- Previous experience leading finance projects and using data insights to influence and improve performance.
- Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and experience with SAP, Power BI or similar tools for data visualisation, dashboards and automated reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and strong numeracy.
- A solid understanding of process control, governance and compliance.
