About This Job

The DevOps Engineer designs, builds, and maintains CI/CD pipelines and application platforms, working independently on well-defined problems and contributing to automation, reliability, and scalability initiatives. This role bridges tactical delivery and strategic improvement of DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain scalable application platforms with a developer mindset
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex automation scripts and tooling to meet evolving application and infrastructure requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues arising from the integration and collaborative use of DevOps tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and infrastructure/hosting teams to design, maintain, and evolve DevOps workflows, platforms, and environments.
  • Participate to the Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features with focus on release and post-production support
  • Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application runtime environments.
  • Participate in follow-the-sun operations to ensure platform stability and availability across multiple regions.
  • Collaborate effectively across shifts and provide clear handoffs to ensure operational continuity.
  • Drive improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve the production environment
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive high levels of collaboration and coordination (approximately 50% of the role).
  • Participate in follow‑the‑sun operations to ensure platform stability, availability, and operational continuity across multiple regions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience Requirements

  • Less than 5 years of total professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering roles
  • Solid software development background with growing hands-on exposure to DevOps practices and automation.
  • Experience with DevOps concepts and tooling, with a focus on automation across build, deployment, and operational workflows.
  • Prior experience as a Software Developer, with a strong understanding of application architecture and development best practices.
  • Programming experience in one or more languages such as C#, Go, or Java.
  • Comfortable working with guidance and mentorship while demonstrating the ability to execute tasks independently.
  • Strong collaborator with effective communication skills, able to work productively within cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated willingness to take ownership of components or systems and continuously grow technical depth.
